Great for heavy lifting dowels help lock grip in. only downside is it's difficult to wrap around dumbells since space is small between plates
I have been using these straps for years and absolutely love them. They provide good wrist support and just enough extra grip. I only use them when I absolutely have to, so I put them on and only need to re-grip with the dowel in my palm as needed. I have a set of Ironmaster dumbells, so I don't have the issues Franky mentioned in a prior review.
My last pair of straps were purchased in 2013 so they lasted 3 solid years! Best straps I've used, super comfy too

I bought some figure eight straps, and traditional longer wrist straps that wrap around the bar more; however, with these dowel straps I can wrap the bar much more quickly and efficiently which translates to less time, frustration and energy spent in that position, and more time on the lift. I Love them!
